Year 2 Level 5 Cadets: File Review for the Merit Review Board process this evening. You will need to ask for your file from CI Nicolescu during a period of the evening that you are not instructing. Anticipate that this should take approx 15 mins. Any/all errors are to be reported to CI Nicolescu with post-it notes (provided) attached to document in question with note for change required. Merit Review Board (MRB) for WOII and WOI promotions is scheduled for Wed 18 Oct 17 jointly with 87 Sqn from Welland at our LHQ.

Monday Night Training is CANCELLED due to Thanksgiving Holiday – have fun and try not to eat too much turkey. We’ll see you back next Wed.
A reminder to cadets and parents: please ensure there is an Officer on-site before leaving your cadet at the Squadron. Our cadets need to be supervised while at cadet trg and inside the school. The Duty Officer is at the squadron by 615pm – but must open all rooms/lights etc and cadets should not arrive prior to 620pm.

Cadet Squadron Commander Change of Command Parade: 815-9pm join us for the parade and refreshments. This parade will include promotions for the training year – parents bring your cameras!

Join us for our CO’s parade. Parents: you are welcome to come and watch! The training night is regular hours, but the parade portion will start NLT 830pm. Senior Cadet promotions ONLY tonight. Capt Palumbo will be meeting with each level this evening to discuss promotion requirements.
Maj Torok, our Regional Cadet Advisor (RCA), will be visiting tonight. Please extend a warm welcome to him.

POPPY SALES – Saturday, 7 November, 2015
Cadets are to meet at their respective locations (see below) either the Valumart NOTL or the Valumart Virgil. Parents: please drop them off and pick them up from their location. They will be met by CI Ruttan with their box of poppies. Poppy boxes will be picked up by CI Ruttan and returned to the Legion at the end of the shifts.
DRESS: Uniform C-2 with parka (bring your toque & gloves if its really cold)

Grace United Remembrance Service: Sunday, Nov 8th, 2015
We need 4-5 Cadets. Currently we have 2 signed up – please give your name to Mr. Hendriks, our Sponsoring Committee Chairman if you are available this weekend. All hours will contribute to your volunteer hours required for High School graduation.
TIMINGS: Drop-off at Church by 1015, pickup at 1145(change from 1st notice).
Cadets will be responsible for carrying the flags during the processional and recessional only. They will sit for the remainder of the service.

Sports 8-9pm Come on out and have some fun!

WOII Merit Review Boards for our FSgts – meet at 650pm at 128 Thorold Sqn Air Cadets. 15 Pine St South Trinity Church – go around the back. Enter through the gymnasium. CARPOOL!! Coordinate with each other to get there and back. Probably need 2 hrs to complete everyone. I have your files for the file review portion – its up to you to WOW us with your interview answers.
