CADET TRAINING CANCELLED

Due to the significant snowfall, and potentially dangerous road conditions, ALL CADET TRAINING for Monday, 2 February 2015 is CANCELLED.

Range Team practice is CANCELLED.

Supply is CLOSED.

Staff Meeting is re-scheduled for Mon 9 Feb 15 8pm.

Stay safe and we’ll see you on Wed, 4 Feb 15 for the CO’s PARADE.

Parent Briefing for March Break Trip and Training Update begins at 7pm in classroom #1.

NAG Sports Competition TOMORROW!!

NAG Sports Comp.

Bus provided from 809 Sqn LHQ to Dunnville Secondary School. 0645 meet at Sqn. 1700hrs pick up from Sqn.

Dress: 809 Sqn t-shirt, sports shorts, running shoes.

SPORTS: Volleyball, Indoor Soccer, Handball.

Lunch provided. Bring snacks, backpack and something to read in between games.

HEALTH CARD MUST BE PRESENTED TO 2LT LEMOINE BEFORE BOARDING THE BUS. No HC = No sports comp.

PARENTS: you are welcome to come watch and cheer! Directions on the event page. Come in the morning to avoid disappointment should our teams be knocked out early. Double-elimination tournament.

Wed Night INTER-FLIGHT SPORTS COMPETITION

Wednesday night is the Inter-Flight Sports Competition – to get us ready for the NAG competition on Sat.  DRESS: Sports gear. SQN T-shirt. running shoes (NO JEANS). Points are awarded to the flight who wins the most games – and go toward the TOP FLIGHT award at Annual.

We will be making squadron t-shirts for those of you who need a new one or who have outgrown it.  Bring $5 if you need one.

NAG SPORTS COMPETITION: We need 7-9 cadets per team for Saturday – that’s 27 cadets total that we can take.  We NEED your skills! Make sure you let us know if you can’t participate. Escort Officer for Sat: Capt Lemoine. Capt Palumbo will be refereeing Indoor Soccer & Capt Jarrell will be refereeing Hand Ball.  Parents: don’t forget you are welcome to attend and cheer!

 

 

 

Mess Dinner

Reminders to parent volunteers, staff and cadets for this Wednesday’s Mess Dinner.

Servers

Please wear black pants or skirt and a white shirt.

Kitchen Staff

Please bring an apron and a hat in order to comply with food service regulations.

CADETS

Read here:  Mess Dinner Seating Plan 2014 and High Flight – one cadet will be asked upon arrival on Wednesday night to read High Flight before the dinner. If you would like to be chosen, practice reading it, and present yourself to Lt Russell when you arrive on Wed.

PMC – FSgt Chikombero VPMC – Cdt Gowans. Meet Lt Russell upon arrival on Wed for a quick briefing as to expectations for Wed night’s dinner. Read PMC and VPMC document for help.

All cadets: Read this Mess Dinner Etiquette so that you understand the importance of the Mess DInner and its traditions. Be prepared to “sing for your supper” as required!

Level 3 IT Practical

Level 3 cadets are expected to have the lessons assigned tonight prepared for presentation on Wednesday 10 December 2014.
For the cadets who missed training tonight (26-Nov-14) must see Lt Russell on Wednesday 03 December 2014 for their assignment.

Lt Russell will be available for questions, and to provide training aide support on Wednesday 03 December 2014.
