The cadets of 809 Newark Squadron have the privilege of assisting the Royal Canadian Legion with their annual Poppy Campaign. This campaign collects funds that will be used to support veterans and their families with medical and other costs. Cadets will work in pairs and will be asked to offer poppies for a donation at Phil’s Valu-Mart on Saturday, 4 Nov 17 and Sunday, 5 Nov 17.
Dress

Cold weather and rain are concerns for this weekend, so cadets should bring their parkas and toques for use as needed. Double-check all of your uniform parts and make sure that they fit. If they don’t, or anything is missing, be sure to see CI Thiffault on Wednesday evening.

Capt Lemoine or another member of staff will make sure that cadets receive their boxes and poppies and will collect them at the end of the shift.
