Good evening.
As 2Lt Couroux and Mr. Abt have already indicated, this Saturday is our first bottle drop-off event of the year. For those of you who may be unaware, the bottle drop-offs have been the principal fundraiser for our squadron for a number of years now and its continued success is critical to our ability to deliver the cadet program in Niagara-on-the-Lake. COVID-19 and its associated lock-downs have diminished our program’s current activities, but we still need to face the future with the assumption that this is temporary. When this is over, we’ll need the funds to be able to do this… and that can’t be done without the help of our cadet families and friends.
Normally, these events would be an all-hands mandatory activity for cadets where they, their families, staff, sponsorship committee members, and friends all band together for a good cause. Current orders regarding cadets and staff don’t permit us to participate directly, but the work still needs doing and we’re asking for your help on Saturday the 8th from 0830 (8:30am) to 1330 (1:30pm).
If you can offer your time this Saturday in support of the squadron, please contact Mr. Abt as soon as you can.
Thank you for your ongoing support of your cadets and the entire squadron.
