CO’s Message
Good morning.
Niagara’s still in the red COVID-19 zone, so virtual training remains our standard. We’re seeing some encouraging news from other regions, where dropping infection levels are bringing them down to orange and yellow zones, but all we can do at this point is wait patiently, keep safe, and be responsible with our approach to public interaction. This too shall pass.
We’re having one more practice night for Effective Speaking before the competition on the 29th, so if there’s any more polishing that needs doing, definitely take this opportunity to work with CV Gowans to address that. We’re looking forward to what you have to show us on the 29th.
Monday evening after Effective Speaking is Radio Club hosted by Sgt Forsyth. I understand all of the radios were passed out this weekend, so everything should be in order. If you’ve somehow been missed, contact OCdt Couroux to see what can be done.
I’ll be away all this week, so OCdt Couroux will be in charge until I get back. Enjoy your training and I’ll see you all next week.
