Description

Presented annually to the cadet who best shows initiative in the sports program through encouraging teamwork. The cadet promotes the success of the squadron over their personal achievements and consistently displays a positive attitude at sporting events. This cadet may not always win, but they always participate to the best of their ability.

Nominations

Nominations for this award may be made by any cadet, members of the squadron staff, or members of the squadron sponsorship committee. The final decision on this award will be made by the staff in consultation with the squadron sponsorship committee and senior cadets. Members of staff, sponsorship committee and cadets who have nominated a cadet shall recuse themselves from the final consideration process if they have submitted a nomination.

Award

The recipient’s name is engraved on a trophy and the recipient shall receive a keeper plaque. A $100 bursary will also be awarded to the recipient.
