Captain Arnold Didur Memorial Trophy (Commanding Officer’s Award)

Description

The Captain Arnold Memorial Trophy is awarded to the cadet who has improved the most over the training year, based on their performance from the beginning of the training year compared to the end. The award is named after Captain Arnold Didur, the first Commanding Officer of 809 Newark RCACS. Presented by the Commanding Officer or their designate.

Nominations

Nominations for this award may be made by any cadet, member of the squadron staff, or member of the squadron sponsorship committee. The final decision on this award will be made by the Commanding Officer in consultation with the staff, the squadron sponsorship committee and senior cadets.

Award

The recipient’s name is engraved on a trophy and the recipient shall receive a keeper plaque.
