Cadet Day at Canada’s Wonderland

Includes a day at the park, meal and transportation.

We will be meeting no later than 0745 (7:45am) in the parking lot of the Regional Municipality of Niagara Headquarters. Aim to be there for 0730 (7:30am) to be sure you don’t miss the bus.

Agenda

0745 – Meet at Regional Municipality of Niagara Headquarters for health card check and bus loading. Depart for Canada’s Wonderland.
1000 – Arrive at Canada’s Wonderland.
1015 – Enter park.
1015 – 1400 – Enjoy the park. Cadets will remain in groups of no fewer than two. Cadets will eat lunch according to their own timing.
1400 – Rendezvous at front gate for head count and safety check.
1400 – 1730 – Enjoy the park. Cadets will remain in groups of no fewer than two.
1730- 1830 – Dinner hosted by Wonderland with all Canadian Cadet Organization members.
1830-1945 – Enjoy the park. Cadets will remain in groups of no fewer than two.
1945-2000 – Load bus and head count.
2000 – Depart from Candada’s Wonderland
2200 – Arrive at Regional Municipality of Niagara Headquarters and go home!

Dress

Appropriate civilian attire. Cadets are encouraged to wear 809 Squadron spirit wear for easy identification and out of consideration for the nature of the event.

Items to Bring

  • Valid Ontario Health Card
  • A non-aerosol bottle of sunscreen
  • A hat
  • A bathing suit
  • A towel
  • Sufficient money to pay for locker rental
  • A bag lunch or sufficient money to pay for lunch at the park

Without a valid Ontario Health Card, cadets will not be permitted to board the bus for the trip. Health Cards will be collected by Capt Lemoine and will be returned at the end of the trip.

Cadets will be spending approximately 10 hours in the sun and should take this into consideration when preparing for the trip. Electronics are discouraged, though not forbidden.
